The AZEK Company is seeking Maintenance Technicians for our Keyser Ave and Corey Street facilities in Scranton, PA.If you are a high-energy, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, please submit your resume for further consideration.
This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Core Responsibilities:
- Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times
- Assists in developing and prioritizing workorders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
- Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.
- Supports workplace organization programs(6S) and production efficiency programs(TPM).
- Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
- Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift
- Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance/process events
- Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed
- Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
- Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications:
- Experience: 0 plus years of experience in role of Maintenance Tech I
- Computer Skills: Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Proven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
- Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fastpaced manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus
- Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work crossfunctionally
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Strong mathematical skills; Success in planning, executing and managing projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences.
- Must be selfdirected and motivated and able to multitask in fastpaced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Advanced education and/or relatedcertification(s), a plus
Certifications & Licenses:
- Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech's Training
- Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
- Completion of two year Maintenance
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
