    Job Description:

    Essential Responsibilities include:

    • Provides direct care to patients and makes necessary nursing judgments. Responsible for assessing healthcare needs, formulating care plans, implementing, and evaluating them.
    • Coordinates patient care and guides assistive staff to ensure safe, effective, and timely, patient-centered care. Identifies necessary resources for care plans.
    • Works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, developing trustful relationships with patients and families, and acting as a patient advocate.
    • Keeps up with mandatory education requirements, identifies opportunities for growth, and participates in quality improvement activities.
    • Demonstrates commitment to patients, colleagues, and the Medical Center by ensuring patient safety and professional development.

    Education:

    • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
    • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

    Experience:
    1-3 years related work experience required.

    License/Certification(s):

    • License Registered Nurse required.
    • American Heart Association – Basic Life support Certificate required (BLS).
    • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
