    We are actively looking for a Senior Level Transportation Engineer to join our Long Beach office.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    Perform engineering design tasks for roadway, municipal, rail and port projects from preliminary to final design
    Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
    Maintain and establish working relationships with regulatory agencies, local government, DOT and state clients, as well as private clients
    Provide engineering design services for traditional design-build and design-build highway projects
    Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans, including but not limited to implementation and knowledge of cross sections, traffic control, drainage, and signing and pavement markings plans
    Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors, and client managers
    Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance
    Identify schedule and cost variances and develop and implement recommendations for corrective action

    Qualifications:
    10+ years' experience in transportation (highway/roadway) engineering design projects
    BS Degree in Civil or related engineering degree
    Professional Registration (PE) in the given state of assignment
