    **Transportation Engineer**

    We are seeking a highly motivated **Transportation Engineer** to join our growing Design Management Services team in**Irvine, CA.** This position offers the potential for a variety of experience. Working under the supervision of a Project Manager, you will be responsible for preparing designs for transportation projects, perform site reviews, collect existing condition data and field visits, and ensure design adequacy within engineering site constraints. In addition:

    Provide technical guidance and assistance to lower classified civil engineering and drafting personnel.

    Review the work of lower classified civil engineering and drafting personnel to assure accuracy and conformance to design requirements.

    Work with others as a contributing member of a project design group.

    CA PE License

    Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering

    4 or more years of proven civil experience in a multi-modal transportation discipline, i.e. rail, roadway, bridge, airport, drainage design and/or water quality

    Familiar with Caltrans, Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), and/or LA Metro standards and specifications

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    **Preferred:**

    Experience using computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents (examples include software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS)

    Specializations in street/grading/utility design, drainage and overall stormwater management, and hydraulic modeling.
