Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Guard to join our team.

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors.

Your keen attention to detail and ability to handle challenging situations will be essential in maintaining a secure environment.


Duties:


  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security risks
  • Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
  • Perform access control duties by verifying identification and granting or denying entry as necessary
  • Conduct thorough inspections of bags, packages, and personal belongings as required
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Experience:


  • Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role
  • Knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV systems, and alarm systems
  • Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and protocols
  • Experience in conflict management is a plus
  • Understanding of loss prevention techniques

Skills:


  • Excellent observation skills with the ability to identify potential security risks
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in highpressure situations
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Proficient in using security equipment such as metal detectors or Xray machines

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification is a plus

Pay:
From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
