Description - Global Trade Compliance Analyst - Remote
Fanatics is seeking a proven professional to join its growing team as a Global Trade Compliance Analyst.

This role will support all facets of import/export trade activities and projects for Fanatics' Brands business, with the potential to support other divisions of the business as needed.

The Global Trade Compliance Analyst will work closely with internal teams and external partners to support world-class global trade compliance for Fanatics.

This role will report to the Manager of Global Trade Compliance and will be remote based.


Responsibilities:


  • Respond to daily inquiries from customs brokers, government agencies, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Advanced HTS classifications.
  • Support import/export compliance activities (e.g. Customs Audit, Valuation, Classification, Tariff Preferential Treatment Programs, etc.).
  • Support compliancerelated projects, as needed. (Compliance Manuals, FTAs if applicable, Focused Assessments, PSC, CBP inquiries, etc.).
  • Generates and analyzes ACE data reports and internal system reports related to customs compliance and regulations.
  • Proactively identifies errors in entries and compliance issues through reporting and analytics, proposes corrections and process improvement to avoid similar issues in the future.
  • Evaluates and analyzes Free Trade Agreements, inquiries, such as CAFTA, for validity. Conducts FTA eligibility analysis.
  • Files PSCs, tenders of duty, protests and prior disclosures as needed.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:


  • Advance HTS classification experience.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations for apparel a must.
  • Advance level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics.
  • Minimum of 2 years directly related working experience, preferably in the apparel industry.
  • Experience with reporting metrics and internal audit processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree: BS/BA degree preferred. License for Customs Brokerage a plus but not necessary.

Salary Range:
$55,000 to $75,000
