Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team at Connecticut Sports Arena. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive incoming shipments and compare them with purchase orders to verify accuracy.
  • Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Ensure all items are properly labeled and tagged for easy identification.
  • Perform regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to company standards.
  • Prepare orders for shipment by ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including but not limited to cycle counts, restocking shelves, and fulfilling customer orders.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
  • Valid driver's license and forklift certification (preferred but not required).

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
