    Department: Behavioral Health

    Work Hours: 40 Hours per week/Monday to Friday

    Salary Range: $62,000-$75,000 for LCSW, $73,000-$90,000 for PSY.D

    Supervisor: Behavioral Health Director

    Travel: Less than 10%

    Status: Exempt, Full Time

    Job Summary:


    At Esperanza Health Center, we believe that mental well-being is crucial to overall health. Our Behavioral Health Consultants play a vital role in our care team, collaborating closely with medical professionals to deliver holistic and collaborative care to our patients. By offering targeted interventions, assessments, and short-term therapy, our consultants aim to help individuals of all ages achieve their health goals and enhance their functioning.


    This position does not require on-call duties, weekend shifts, or after-hours work.


    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care to a diverse population
    • Conduct individual sessions within the medical setting to address behavioral health concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and substance use
    • Collaborate with patients and medical staff to create effective treatment plans
    • Organize and lead support groups to address specific patient needs
    • Offer crisis intervention and safety planning as needed
    • Maintain detailed patient records in the Electronic Medical Record system
    • Facilitate referrals to specialized behavioral health services and community resources
