**Hours and Benefits for the Director of Development and Fundraising:**

+ $70,000 to $90,000 a year based on experience level

+ PTO, holidays off, & sick time

+ Health, Vision, and Dental benefits

**Responsibilities for the Director of Development and Fundraising:**

+ Identify and develop business support and corporate sponsorship

+ Maximize the community awareness and revenue streams necessary for a strong foundation

+ Plan, direct and evaluate all major special events in the community

+ Oversee two (2) direct reports; the Communications/Social Media Coordinator and the Special Events Coordinator

+ Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process

+ Build and maintain relationships with clients

+ Work with other departments to promote individuals, staff, programs and the organization in general, through PR and marketing, networking and strategies to heighten awareness

+ Participate in Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, Association of Fundraising Professionals and other appropriate business and professional groups

+ Reports to the CEO

**Requirements for the Director of Development and Fundraising:**

+ Five (5)+ years of progressive experience in Public Relations, Marketing & Promotions, or Fund-raising required.

+ Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing or related field

+ Valid NYS drivers license
