The Aeronautics Systems sector Strike Advanced Development is looking to grow Strike in support of designing and implementing technologies critical to the USAF Open Architecture initiatives.
Our work influences the investment decisions of our senior leadership and customer program offices as well as impacting the Air Force enterprise of acquisition programs.
The candidate will work with the Chief Architect and Systems Engineering lead to design architecture solutions supporting Open Mission System (OMS) and Universal Command and Control Initiative (UCI) Standards development.
The candidate should have experience in developing software on an agile focused team and is knowledgeable of the software development lifecycle and be able to work independently.
The candidate must also have an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain Top Secret and SAP clearances.We are looking for innovative thinkers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with multi-tasking, prioritizing tasks, giving verbal presentations, and self-educating without direct supervision.
The candidate must have a firm understanding of traditional systems engineering concepts and methodologies and must be able to apply and adjust these concepts and methodologies to an accelerated process in the early stages of the engineering design.
The candidate must be familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), be able to work within an agile environment, and be an "out of the box" thinker.

Salary Range:
$75,300 - $112,900 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
