    Join Community

Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, "community" is still the heart of our organization. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all interactions.
    • Willingness to undergo background checks and maintain compliance with state regulations for licensed therapists.
    • Experience working in community mental health, schools, or juvenile justice systems.
    • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating complex trauma, including attachment-based interventions and expressive therapies.
    • Experience facilitating psychoeducational workshops or support groups for parents and caregivers.
    • Collaborate with clients and their families to co-create culturally responsive treatment plans that address their unique strengths, challenges, and cultural backgrounds.
    • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using trauma-informed modalities, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Play Therapy, to promote healing and resilience.
    • Utilize a strengths-based approach to empower clients in their recovery process and enhance their coping skills and self-esteem.
    • Incorporate principles of DEI into all aspects of therapy, recognizing and respecting the intersectionality of clients' identities and experiences.
    • Support families in understanding the impact of trauma on child development and parenting practices and provide guidance on creating a safe and nurturing environment at home.
    • Stay informed about emerging research and best practices in youth mental health to continually enhance clinical interventions.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and engage in culturally responsive and trauma-informed consultation.
    • Engage in self-care practices to prevent burnout and maintain personal well-being, modeling healthy coping strategies for clients and colleagues.
