The Designer typically completes projects and designs involving Overhead and Underground scope. This is a beginning-level position for Designer.
The position will have supervision and guidance but will also require a self-driven individual who can manage workload independently after training.
Qualifications
The Essentials
- Must pass preemployment drug test.
- Must possess high levels of computer knowledge
- MS Programs
- Adobe PDF
The Preferred
- Knowledge of OH/UG Design
- Knowledge of Utility Design
- Fast learner

Required
- Drafting experience (1 year minimum)
- Experience with AutoCAD &/or equivalent drafting systems
You should know
- This position is remote but may require in office meetings per supervisor request
Duties and Responsibilities
- SAFETY, SAFTEY, SAFTEY Always maintain a safe working environment including on site in office and out in the field via an everchanging environment
- Prepare scaled work order maps using AutoCAD and AUD (Autodesk Utility Design)
- Utilize customer standards to deliver, develop, and implement cost effective designs.
- Maintain effective communication with peers to help facilitate larger customer driven jobs.
- Work in a time efficient manner to adhere to company driven benchmarks to avoid construction delays.
