Description

LSG Sky Chefs is seeking a highly motivated and organized Transportation Supervisor to lead our team in ensuring the on-time and efficient delivery of in-flight meals and supplies to our airline customers.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily transportation operations, including scheduling drivers, creating routes, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
Monitor and maintain communication with drivers throughout their shifts, addressing any delays or issues promptly.
Manage driver performance, including conducting performance reviews and providing coaching and development opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including conducting pretrip inspections and enforcing safe driving practices.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking times, quantities, and any discrepancies.
Collaborate with other departments, such as production and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize transportation efficiency and costeffectiveness.
Uphold company standards for quality and customer service.

Qualifications:

Minimum 23 years of experience in a transportation supervisor role or similar logistics management position.
Proven ability to effectively schedule and dispatch drivers.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures for commercial vehicles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) a plus.
Experience within the airline catering industry is preferred.
