The community of Teningen is looking to fill the following position as soon as possible:
Director of the Media Library


The main tasks include:


  • Conceptual management, organization and development of the Teningen community media library;
  • Planning and management of projects and events;
  • Budget and personnel responsibility for the organizational unit;
  • Expansion and further development of target grouporiented event offerings of the media library;
  • Responsibility for public relations and committee work related to the media library;
  • Maintaining contacts with other cultural and educational institutions and carrying out collaborations;
  • Performing libraryrelated tasks (collection development and mediation).

Your qualifications:


  • A degree in library science or a comparable field;
  • Professional and management experience in the mentioned area is advantageous;
  • Commitment and strong social skills;
  • High motivation, service orientation and strong initiative;
  • Convincing appearance and assertiveness;
  • Teamwork and communication skills;
  • Good computer skills, especially in MS Office.
