As an Administrative Program Coordinator, you will function as liaison, administrative, technical, and operational resource. You will help coordinate policy evaluation and implementation.

In this role, the coordinator will be empowered to enhance the culture, improve caregiver communication, and make a positive impact on both our patient and caregiver experience.

Your other duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting Director with projects and daily tasks.
  • Identifying operational improvement opportunities to create an efficient workplace.
  • Developing communications and databases.

This role will interact with many groups including staff physicians, residents, advanced practice nurses, administrators and otherwise. Exposure to this large of a workgroup will aid in determining development opportunities.

Responsibilities:


  • With guidance from Director, leads or coordinates multiple projects and policy initiatives.
  • Updates, monitors and manages databases.
  • Develops scorecards and milestones to track progress.
  • Analyzes project improvement and progress.
  • Reports discrepancies and variances.
  • Coordinates project prioritization and assists with policy and initiative implementation.
  • Assists with scheduling, coordination, preparation and communication of meetings.
  • Attends meetings and records key outcomes.
  • Supports all office administrative functions.
  • Develops and maintains updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:


  • Associate's degree required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
  • High School diploma/GED and four years of experience can substitute work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree can substitute work experience required.

Certifications:


  • May require license based on department/Institute need.

Complexity of Work:


  • Requires multitasking, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with mínimal supervision in highly interactive team environment.
  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.

Work Experience:


  • Two years administrative experience required.
  • Healthcare experience or related organization preferred.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • In some locations, ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment:


  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
**Pay Range: $ $28.80 / hour
