- Supervise the development and growth of the Accounting Support team members.
- Responsible for the direction of team daily tasks and processes as it relates to Platform conversion configuration and database issues/questions in assigned data management systems.
- Create team standards and processes consistent with Acrisure's database requirements and controls.
- Set strategic direction and goals for the team by working closely to ensure daily tasks and processes are met and metrics are monitored.
- Provide formal & hands on training of the Accounting Support processes and responsibilities.
- Identify efficiencies and coordinate workload of the assigned Service Now tickets.
- Complete quarterly team member check-in's and monthly (or more frequently) one on one meetings to ensure goals at met.
- Complete annual performance review process of assigned team members.
- Work closely with system product owners to ensure system updates reviewed and are communicated and incorporated into accounting data integration workflows and processes.
- Partner with the Operational Excellence team and Platform Accounting Operations team to ensure corporate requirements and system workflows are consistent with system updates.
- Be the Accounting point of contact for system updates.
- Ensure the team is kept up to date on all corporate requirements and best practices and all system updates meet the minimum standards of these requirements.
- Communicate with Acrisure employee's and Agency Partners on a regular basis regarding questions, concerns, system requests through the Service Now ticketing system and participate in solutioning sessions on an as needed basis.
- Participate in leadership meetings and bring recommendations and ideas to this team.
- Assist the Acrisure Accounting Integration team with projects on an as needed basis.
- Strong experience in Agency software, Applied and Vertafore platforms, required.
- Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Minimum of seven (7) years combined education and/or relevant accounting/system experience required.
- Must be able to work independently, coordinate between various groups within the organization, and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members.
- Must possess a high level of problem-solving capacity in an analytical environment.
- Must be highly competent with Microsoft Office, specifically, Word and Excel.
- Must communicate effectively, – both in writing and orally; and

Job Summary:
We are currently looking to add to our team with an exciting opportunity as Accounting Support Manager. The primary responsibilities of this position are to work as part of a team to ensure a successful conversion to EPIC for all accounting information and functions. This candidate will work with our Agency Partner's and EPIC conversion team to gain a good understanding of their process and ensure implemented properly post EPIC conversion. A key component of this position will be to provide post EPIC conversion accounting assistance to agency partners responsible for their own transactional and financial accounting. This position will mentor the agency partner accounting team through post conversion issues and questions to ensure they can work independently.
