Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for learning the intricacies of the horticulture industry and the logístical aspects of running a specialized business in Massachusetts.

The Horticultural Operations Runner will play a crucial role in supporting Parterre staff by facilitating the movement of plant materials, landscape debris, and assisting with various labor demands.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the pickup and delivery of landscape materials for a wide range of projects, including fine garden maintenance, installations, and container gardening.
• Manage perishable and nonperishable inventories efficiently.
• Provide support to all levels of Parterre staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Love for the outdoors, trees, plants, and garden spaces.
• Ability to consistently lift 40+ lbs and work for at least 8 hours a day.
• Professionalism, effective communication skills, and a passion for learning are essential.
• Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• High level of organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Valid MA driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating landscaperelated vehicles is a plus, and licensure is even better.
• Background in horticulture, art, or design is appreciated but not required.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
