We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fresh Market Operations Manager to join our team.

As a Fresh Market Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of retail operations, including layout, selection, KPI tracking, team management, new openings, and more.

This position will report directly to the Head of Fresh Product to ensure that all stores are running efficiently and meeting their objectives.

While fresh market experience is preferred, it is not required, and we encourage recent college graduates with an interest in hospitality to apply.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOP) for all fresh product operations and across Eataly software
  • Assists with setting up for new store openings through organizing receiving, ordering, and training coordination
  • Creates and analyzes in stock and out of assortment in store and online channels weekly. Discuss and propose strategy and actions to increase performance and customer service. Monitor waste and product expiration and develop strategies to minimize it and optimize inventory management
  • Develops, maintains, and shares files to track KPIs, (backinstock, expired, and movement reports, as well as analysis on competitor comparisons)
  • Support the Head of Fresh Product in planning the instore layout and merchandising based on sales, customer flow, and contracts
  • Assists with new store openings, including layout planning and training new team members
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess the priority and urgency of the store while providing a quantitative and qualitative report of store status
  • Creates and provides training for new and existing team members in person and or via virtual meetings
The annual compensation for this position is $70,000- $80,000

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with fresh market/retail operations and industry trends preferred but not required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel up to 50% to all Eataly North America locations (US and Canada required)
  • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Ability to exert wellpaced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
