THE POSITION- The Operations Scheduler will be responsible for the delivery of general operations of the scheduling function in our Houston, Texas office, focusing on our California market.

This position has been created to ensure effectiveness and excellence in processes and procedures, scheduling, and other systems/programs. In addition, they will manage projects as assigned and serve as a strategic partner in developing progressive solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule assignments with existing employees to service customer sites throughout the California market.

  • Manage and schedule multiple assignments effectively based on request and California client.
  • Written communication of assignment details to ODS employee and the customer.
  • Work cohesively with Service and Dispatch for changes in schedules.
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets detailing upcoming, ongoing and recently completed assignments.
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets for hours/shifts missed on assignments (time and attendance reporting).
  • Timely and accurate submission of order information to data entry.
  • Crosstrain within the Operations Department and other departments.
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Interact with customer and field staff via multiple forms of communication.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 7+ years' experience in an operational scheduling or related role.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with a strong sense of urgency.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
TRAVEL- < 5% travel expected.
POSITION STATUS- Full-time; ExemptCOMPENSATION- Compensation includes a base salary and the potential for a discretionary, performance-based, year-end bonus.
