Job Summary
- Skilled construction foreman with experience with familiarity with commercial construction and trades.
- Construction experience with trades include concrete and steel structures, framing, energy efficient MEP systems, conveyor systems, commercial roofing and experience with field management and how to navigate on a construction site.
- OSHA and other safety certifications
- Maintain safe and organized construction site and provide guidance to junior tradesman and laborers
- Valid drivers license for pick up and drop off materials, supplies etc. as directed by Supervisor.
- Certifications in construction trades or journeyman preferred but not required for employment.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to high quality workmanship
Responsibilities and Duties
Support Superintendent and construction team with construction for commercial projects including demolition, framing, steel and concrete structures, roofing, energy efficient and green building systems, wall systems installation, and general support with quality control and construction work on site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role
- Indepth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines
- Familiarity with Primavera, OSHA regulations, Budgeting tools, Pipeline projects, HeavyBid software, Construction management practices, Contracts management, Schematics interpretation, Prolog software, and Quality control processes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in construction management or related field is a plus
