Server Job Description


Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team.

As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced restaurant environment.


Duties:


  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately
  • Deliver orders promptly and accurately
  • Assist with menu recommendations and upselling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Process payments and operate the POS system efficiently

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the food industry preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • SPEAK CREOLE AND ENGLISH
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Basic math skills for order processing and bill calculation
  • Familiarity with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus
  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques is advantageous
