- Manage record keeping and activities for environmental compliance (e.g., material usage, storm water, air permitting).
- Coordinate with environmental consultant during visits and ensure completion of required training.
- Support ISO certification/surveillance efforts, lead EHS Committee, and participate in Objectives and Targets Team Meetings.
- Assist the ISO Coordinator and perform their duties when necessary.
- Promote team health by working with the wellness coordinator on wellness initiatives.
- Lead by example by focusing on personal wellness.
- / Workers' Compensation
- Handle Injury and Illness reporting, conduct accident investigations, and ensure compliance with post-accident procedures.
- Manage workers' compensation program, including liaising with insurance carriers and overseeing safety committee functions.
- Conduct safety meetings, facility inspections, and ensure OSHA standards compliance.
- Organize regular safety training and maintain safety records.
- Deliver necessary OSHA training programs and update Health Manuals as required.
- Maintain team member training records and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
- Provide safety training for specific equipment operation and New Hire Orientation.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations, ISO programs, workers' compensation, and safety culture.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Communication skills via various channels.
- Engagement in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
- Mainly involves sitting/standing for extended periods.
