- Five years of experience with an applicant tracking system.
- Group scheduling software applications including email.
- Recruitment compliance, employment laws, regulations & company policies.
- Full-cycle recruiting, including best practices for outreach efforts, screening, negotiations/closing and candidate relationship management.
- Applicant tracking platforms and data collection methods.
- Interviewing processes and techniques to fairly assess potential for success.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Reducing unconscious bias, cultivating inclusion, and assessing processes for equity.
- Microsoft office suite of products.
- Grammar, punctuation, spelling.
- Time management, including priority setting and resetting.
- Procedures for handling privileged or confidential documents.
- Principles of candidate experince
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credentialed.
- Working knowledge and experience with ICIMS Applicant Tracking.
- Experience with recruiting on digital platforms (Linkedin, Brazen, Indeed, etc.).
- Experience in public sector or transit recruitment.
- Collaborates with department managers & HR Business partners to identify and draft detailed and accurate hiring plan, criteria & expectations. Responsible for understanding job posting and advertisement requirements to ensure recruitment goals are met. Identifies effective avenues for outreach. Ensures job postings are "fresh", easily accessible, and accurate on all identified recruitment platforms. Researches, recommends, and advocates for new and innovative best practice recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the Agency.
- Screens applications, pre-screens candidates and selects qualified candidates to advance in the process. Maintains consistent communication and timely responds to candidate questions. Maintains accurate, complete, and timely records in applicant tracking system. Provides subject matter expert recommendations for enhancements in applicant tracking systems and tools. Ensures accurate & timely reporting from the system.
- Recommends interview strategy and leads hiring manager in preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process, ensuring proper hiring practices are adhered to while attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
