Role Summary:
As a Junior Analyst focusing on predictive modeling, you will work closely with our analytics team to develop and deploy statistical models. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and aiding in player evaluation and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in developing and implementing predictive models.
•Collaborate with teams to integrate statistical analyses into tools for baseball decision support.
•Stay updated with data science and baseball analytics trends.
•Contribute to continuous learning and innovation within the department.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
•Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
•Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
•Good communication skills and a passion for baseball analytics.
Nice to Haves:
•Experience with statistical modeling or sports analytics.
•Knowledge of Bayesian methods or other advanced statistical techniques.
•Master's degree in a quantitative field.
•Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.
