Job Summary:
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of office operations, including administrative tasks, scheduling, and record keeping
- Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees
- Perform technical accounting duties such as general ledger accounting, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
- Provide support to the team by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence
- Oversee office supplies inventory and order necessary items
- Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
Skills:
- Strong background in accounting and finance
- Proficiency in payroll processing, technical accounting, general ledger accounting, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial report writing
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage or similar programs
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Pay:
$ $26.07 per hour
