The DarkStar Group is seeking a Web Content Administrator with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Bethesda, MD.

THE PROJECT


The DarkStar Group's team provides Analytic Software Development, Data Engineering, and Cloud Migration services, as well as interagency communication and data-sharing solutions, as part of an enterprise program that spans two major Intelligence Community customers.

This project regularly has new openings for Software Engineers, Cloud Infrastructure Experts, DevOps Engineers, Data Engineers, SharePoint Developers and Administrators, ServiceNow Developers, and various other types of IT professionals.


Work on this program takes place in Herndon, McLean, and Bethesda (we cannot support remote work) and requires a TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance (acceptable to this customer).


THE ROLE
The DarkStar Group is seeking an experienced Web Content Administrator. The purpose of
this program is to provide DevOps, applied technology investigations, operations and
maintenance and infrastructure lifecycle support services across the enterprise. Our support
in Bethesda includes software engineering/development, O&M, technology investigations, customer

In this role you will:

  • Provide dedicated content support to existing internal and external websites.
  • Maintain websites of varying platforms and content management systems.
  • Work with senior leaders to craft language used to inform the workforce and the public.
  • Work independently with clients and receive taskings through several points of contact.
  • Provide demonstrations of completed work to the customer.
  • Provide documentation and assist program management with deliverable tracking.
  • Provide managing/performing website editorial activities including gathering and researching information that enhances the value of the site.
  • Collaborate with web developers to create and operate internal and external web sites, or to manage projects, such as emarketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with development teams to discuss, analyze, or resolve usability issues.
  • Develop web site performance metrics.
  • Evaluate testing routines or procedures for adequacy, sufficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Recommend web site improvements and developing budgets to support recommendations.
  • Develop or document style guidelines for web site content.

Required Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years' experience in the workforce. Experience using at least one content management system (i.e. WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, SharePoint, Confluence).
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Ability to break large tasks down into smaller, more manageable pieces.
Desired Skills (Optional)

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience designing wireframes and/or full mockups.
  • Experience with building the infrastructure for serving the frontend app and assets.
  • Experience working with the US Web Design System and Material Design patterns and principals.
  • Indepth knowledge of validation by government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Familiarity with REST design principles.
  • Ability to create selfcontained, reusable, and testable code.
  • Experience integrating frontend content with REST or HTTP APIs.
  • Extensive experience with Git source code management system.
