    POSITION SUMMARY


    Radiology Associates of Florida is seeking a full-time General Radiologist to join and support it's growing practice in Pasco and Hernando counties.

    This a full-time day shift opportunity working Monday- Friday from 8am-5pm in an outpatient setting at Tower Radiology in Bayonet Point, New Port Richey and Trinity as well as in the acute care setting at Tampa General Hospital Spring Hill and Tampa General Hospital Brooksville.

    The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of diagnostic radiology. Ability to read screening and diagnostic mammograms would also be a plus

    The practice is open to a candidate seeking either an employed or partnership track opportunity. An employed, non-partnership track, position will have no weekend requirements. A partnership track eligible position will require 9 individual days or 4.5 combined weekend day shifts annually. These are flexible shifts ranging from 8 am-5 pm, 1 pm-9 pm or from 3 pm-11pm, all reading remotely.

    In Sarasota, our physicians' staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years.

    We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

    DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
    • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
    • Candidates with fellowship training in any sub-specialty will be considered in addition to non-fellowship trained General Radiologists
    • Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL
