- Responsible for structural engineering for prestressed/precast concrete projects. Review drawings and specifications.
- Study the plans and specifications in order to gain an overall understanding of the project.
- Direct engineering activities, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations.
- Provide technical advice to industrial or managerial personnel regarding design, construction, program modifications, or structural repairs.
- Develop or implement engineering solutions.
- Work closely with other company departments to promote a strong working relationship as well as develop and maintain relationships with external engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the schedule for all project phases and follow up with customers (internal and external) to make sure needs are met in a timely manner.
- Create pre-bid designs. Assist the sales department in providing valued solutions and technical expertise to our clients.
- Provide timely solutions to manufacturing facilities and clients as needed.
- Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related engineering degree.
- 3+ years of experience in precast concrete design preferred
- Knowledgeable in PCI Design Handbook, IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360, ASCE-7, and other applicable code
- Minimum of five years' work experience performing similar primary position responsibilities exceeding performance expectations preferred.
- Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
- Expertise with reading structural drawings and performing computer-aided design utilizing formwork engineering methods.
- P.E. License Required

- Pay: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
