Assembly Line Operator / EMV Module Fabricator
Ellipse is a FinTech company that's shaping the future of smartcards. Our mission is to address the payment ecosystem's varied needs with our solutions and to make digital payment safer.

Ellipse invented EVC (Ellipse Verification Code), the technology that generates a Dynamic Card Security Code during every Contact or Contactless card-present transaction.

Founded in 2017, Ellipse is based in Los Angeles, with a global team.


This position is a full-time, in-facility at our Culver City location.
You will report directly to our Manufacturing Production Supervisor, you will be a crucial member of our team.


MISSIONS

Module Assembly:


  • Operate automated equipment used in EMV fabrication such as stamping machine, bonding machines and AOI machines.
  • Assemble EMV components with precision, utilizing manual dexterity, focus and attention to detail.
  • Fabricate EMV modules according to specifications and customer requirements, following established procedures and standards.
  • Assemble components running appropriate equipment and techniques.

Quality Control and Inspection:


  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks of fabricated modules to verify conformity to specifications and standards.
  • Use measurement tools and test equipment to verify module performance, reliability, and functionality.

Documentation and Record Keeping:


  • Maintain accurate records of fabrication activities, including production logs, inspection reports, and process documentation.
  • Complete required documentation and paperwork to support traceability and compliance efforts.

Process Improvement:


  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, productivity enhancements, and quality improvements in EMV module fabrication.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process changes and corrective actions as needed.

PROFILE

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in semiconductor fabrication, module assembly, or microelectronics assembly is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with small components and delicate materials.
  • Good understanding of quality control principles and practices, with a commitment to producing highquality products.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols, cleanroom procedures, and industry standards relevant to semiconductor fabrication.
