HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
An experienced Hospitality coordinator to organize and oversee daily operations of all church food and beverage services.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage all church Food & Beverage ministries including the stocking of goods and product, inventory control, green rooms, donut ministry, church bbq's, all church coffee service, food service for all main church events
  • Create and manage a current volunteer base in each of these areas
  • Coordinate, design and manage all food Safe Training for staff and volunteers
  • Build & manage largescale volunteer groups for all church ministries and special events requiring food and beverage service
  • Establish key food/beverage vendors for Crossline Church food service operations utilizing quantity pricing strategies
  • Organizing and coordinating operations to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Supervising and evaluating staff and volunteers
  • Assume responsibility for budgeting and monitoring expenses
  • Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards
  • Review and prepare reports for senior management

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Organizationally sound, works well with others
  • A team builder and recruiter of volunteers
  • Proven experience in hospitality
  • Handson experience in customer service and or in event planning
  • Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices
  • Knowledge of quality standards
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant software
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Problemsolving aptitude
  • Member in good standing with Crossline Community Church
  • Must have good writing, coordination, reading comprehension, problemsolving, record keeping and active listening skills
  • Must be confidential, flexible, accurate, and have good followup skills
  • Strong managerial skills
  • Have a positive attitude

Reports to:
Operations Director and Facilities Manager


Schedule:
Sundays, various in-office weekly meetings, and major events

Hours: 24 hours per week, at-will employee

Vacation: 2 part-time weeks plus Sick Pay


Status:
Part-time, Non-Exempt
