Until FilledThe East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is a public Career and Technical Education District (CTED) providing tuition-free career and technical education (CTE) programs to high school students - public, charter, and home-schooled - and tuition-based programs to adults who reside in 11 school districts in the East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Centralized campus programs provide two to four hours of hands-on training every day and prepare students for professional certification and licensing exams.
EVIT students who complete their training have a 98 percent high school graduation rate and 90 percent on average are in jobs related to their training, college or the military within a year.
Two out of three EVIT students go on to college.Applications are being accepted for the position of
Admissions Specialist with the East Valley Institute of Technology. The starting date is approximately
June 3, 2024 .
The beginning salary for this
full-time, 12-month position, is approximately
$22.24 an hour; competitive salary based on education and like experience.
Job Summary:
Working closely with the Registrar, the Admissions Specialist will act as custodian of records, responsible for the organization of student files and their related documents as secured within the Registration department
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of postsecondary coursework in secretarial training and data entry preferred;
_and_: - Two or more years of increasingly responsible secretarial and clerical experience;
_or_: - An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
