Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator.

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office by managing appointment scheduling and maintaining accurate records.

This is a vital position that requires strong administrative skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments, ensuring proper allocation of time slots and resources
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure availability for appointments
• Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in electronic medical systems (e.g., Epic)
• Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus
• Previous experience working in an office or medical setting preferred
• Proficient in using computer systems and software, including electronic medical record systems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is beneficial

We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position with regular office hours.

Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
