Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To perform asbestos surveys, project oversight and inspections of buildings, structures, or
industrial sites to identify the presence of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) within the five
boroughs of NYC. Occasional work in greater New York Tri-State Area and Long Island

To collect representative samples of suspect ACMs following established protocols and safety
procedures. Coordination and implementation of all field activities

To be knowledgeable of NYCDEP, NYSDOL, EPA rules & regulations regarding asbestos inspections

To provide ACP-5 documents to clients

To provide sample location drawings and ACM location drawings/sketches

Minimum Requirements:

NYC DEP Asbestos Investigator License

NYS DOL Asbestos Inspector License

NYS DOL Asbestos Project Designer (Preferred / Not Required)

NYS DOL Asbestos Project Monitor License (Preferred / Not Required)

30 hour OSHA Certification

Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Compensation:

$37 - $42 Hourly

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. The final
agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
