Position Summary
FXI is seeking a motivated and customer-centric Sales Representative/Account Manager to join our OEM Furniture sales team. This individual will manage existing or assigned accounts through effective customer relationship management.

This individual will also maintain and grow current accounts and customer relations, educate current and prospective customers on products, and generate profitable sales.

In addition to account management, you will also prospect and develop new business within the OEM customer segment.

This is a territory based role.


Responsibilities:


  • Generate sales by developing new and existing accounts
  • Advise customers on products and materials that best suits their needs
  • Work closely with Account Mangers to close new business opportunities
  • Capture all relevant opportunities, risks, and maintain account activity in CRM
  • Meet assigned targets for sales volume, revenue, profitability, and strategic objectives for assigned accounts
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including technical support & services, R&D and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Complete reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in special projects to support Sales team as needed
  • Maintain professional business relationships with assigned accounts
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, etc.
  • 35 years of experience in solutionbased selling in industrial sales
  • 13 years of experience focused on prospecting new accounts and developing new business opportunities
  • A passion for customer success and solving customer pain points
  • Ability to learn a technical product quickly and/or experience selling technical products that require extensive training
  • Indepth manufacturing experience and/or engineering background is a plus
  • A high level of organizational skills and the ability to work remotely and independently
  • Strong customer relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) are essential, along with attention to detail
  • Must possess proficient computer skills and be capable in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Positive attitude and comfortable cold calling accounts
  • Experience utilizing a CRM software
  • Strong crossfunctional team skills
  • Some travel required to customers
  • Background in the Polyurethane Foam a plus
