Job Summary:


Senior Helpers, a leading national non-medical in-home-care provider is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant for our Fort Wayne office in Indiana.

This individual will support and provide the administrative needs of the Director of Operations and other managerial staff. Excellent customer service to clients and caregivers. The Administrative Assistant must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Compensation & Benefits:
The Administrative Assistant will be compensated $15 per hour on a biweekly basis.

This position offers a flexible part-time schedule and the opportunity to work in the rewarding and growing home care industry.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Maintain client and caregiver records accurately and in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Assist with billing and payroll tasks as needed
  • Conduct phone screenings and schedule interviews for potential caregivers and clients
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
  • Ensure the office is kept clean and organized at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and caregivers, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional manner
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as needed

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • 12 years of administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and payroll preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting a plus
