Description

Development of a course management tool as an interface between executing and administrative services within the training technology of the German Armed Forces

Object-oriented design, implementation, and continuous integration & delivery of software modules (microservices, components, application elements) across all architecture levels

Taking on development tasks throughout the software lifecycle in cross-functional teams, including conducting code reviews

Integration into the system landscape of BWI and/or its customers

Contributing expert knowledge in modern software development, including Java, corresponding frameworks, React, and database systems

Providing input for optimizing the way of collaboration within the team and with all stakeholders

Completed degree in computer science or equivalent

At least 5 years of relevant work experience in software engineering (e.g. SW design & architecture, middleware, Java) and practical experience in the DevOps environment

Excellent knowledge of the Java environment and Spring Boot, as well as frontend development with React

Good knowledge of working with databases (e.g. MongoDB, PostgreSQL)

Proficiency in the standards of professional software development (clean code, design patterns, architecture, etc.) as well as with GitLab and Confluence/Jira

Customer-oriented work and enthusiasm for close collaboration in an agile team

Negotiable German and English language skills
