As a
Business Intelligence Analyst 1 at Illinois Farm Bureau, you will be a forward-thinker within our Strategy & Innovation area.

You will partner with business units across the organization to drive new strategies based on data, research, and trends to further efficiency and effectiveness.

You will be part of a growing team and have the opportunity to bring ideas and input to help shape how we can best serve our business partners and members.


This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.

How does a Business Intelligence Analyst 1 make an impact?

  • Drives business decisions and innovation by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, processes and trends to decision makers.
  • Collects, aggregates, and analyzes data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance.
  • Produces actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identifies areas of improvement within current operations, and displays root cause analysis of problems.
  • Provides reporting solutions and responds to adhoc report requests across multiple business areas.
  • Designs and develops business intelligence reporting tools.
  • Provides consultation to clients and leads crossfunctional teams to address business issues.

Qualifications

Do you have what we're looking for?

  • Data analytics and quantitative/qualitative reasoning.
  • Good project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, organize efficiently, establish priorities and attend to details.
  • Computer proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, database technology, analytics and business intelligence.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Occasional travel.
  • Typically requires 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
