SECURITY OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Starting Salary $35,000/yr.

JOB DESCRIPTION


As the Operations Assistant for BCM Security, you would be responsible for assisting with the management of a large number of security personnel delivering different security services toto client sites and special event venues in the Miami/ft.

Lauderdale region.


You would be supporting the development, operations, and profitability of your assigned area through ensuring the best possible business performance, contract compliance and delivery.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be required to assist in the management of operations which are running 24x7. This position will require availability to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.


Your responsibilities include:

AssistAssist the Regional Manager with areas of responsibility, including providing support, absence management, discipline and grievance, and recruitment activities

Acting as a role model and always behaving in line with our company values

Cover security posts as needed for emergency coverage and shortages

Driving employee engagement by personal interaction and engagement with your team in order to develop and coach them in their duties and responsibilities

Ensuring all aspects of the required security services are being delivered to the customers' satisfaction and in accordance with the contract

Ensuring there are sufficient trained, licensed, and vetted staff working at all times to meet customer and contract requirements


Ensuring contract-required training and screening / vetting has been completed for all security staff at the direction of the Regional Manager.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We're looking for an applicant who has the following traits:

  • A checkable personal history including periods of education, employment, and unemployment
  • A valid security industry license (Florida Security Class D required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting both internally and externally
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A willingness to follow instructions and learn new skills

Pay:
$35,000.00 per year
