We are actively seeking an experienced Surg Tech to join our outpatient surgical team.

Schedule and Work Life Balance
- Four 10 hour shifts
- 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- No call
- No weekends
- No holidays
Enjoy predictable hours in a high quality surgical setting without the burnout of hospital based call schedules.
Position Overview
The Surg Tech works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and is responsible for ensuring patient safety throughout the preoperative and intraoperative phases of care.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing each patient and surgical procedure to anticipate needs
- Maintaining an aseptic and safe surgical environment
- Coordinating with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs
- Supervising non professional personnel in the surgical area
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
- Delivering exceptional patient centered care
Types of Ophthalmology Cases
Our surgical team performs a wide range of ophthalmic procedures, including:
- Cataract surgery
- LASIK and refractive surgery
- Glaucoma procedures
- Retina surgery
- Vitrectomy
- Corneal transplants
- Oculoplastic surgery
- Eyelid and orbital procedures
- MIGS procedures
- YAG laser capsulotomy
- PRK
- Tear duct procedures
Qualifications
- Prior Surg Tech experience required
- Ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence
