- Responsible for ensuring assigned production machines, machine parts, and areas are cleaned and sanitized as assigned.
- Uses various cleaning equipment including pressure hoses, shovels and other tools provided.
- May use sanitizing chemicals and foam applicators during non-production periods or off shifts on all food contact areas.
- May dismantle, clean, and reassemble assigned production equipment as needed per standard operating procedure (SOP).
- Follows and conforms to all plant good manufacturing procedures (GMP) requirements and wears all required personal protective gear for the tasks they will perform including but limited to rubber/waterproof boots, apron or rain gear (pants/jacket), protective gloves, face shield, and goggles as well as standard GMPs (Bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, general safety glasses while in plant).
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; or any combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the position.
- 1 years' related experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation methods and practices in a food processing manufacturing facility and trained in chemicals used for food manufacturing facility sanitation.
- Knowledge in sanitation and other plant equipment e.g. janitorial and sanitation supplies, tools and equipment, high pressure water hoses, portable chemical spray tanks, portable high-pressure system, ladders, and floor scrubber.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, credit screen, and work extended hours, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically July to November.

We are looking for part time 3rd ShiftSanitation Technicians to execute sanitation related duties and other various general labor tasks as assigned. This role will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment including food contact surfaces following good manufacturing procedures at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. This is a 3rd shift, part-time position (full-time during pack season, July – October, and when running production off season; part-time the rest of the year).
