**Position Profile**

It is the responsibility of the Kitchen Prep-Technician to maintain the sanitation of the kitchen, including the cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing of all kitchen tools. Equally important responsibilities include supporting Kitchen and Packaging team members; measuring out ingredients to create kits for projected production; and upholding local/state government requirements for sanitation and marijuana handling practices.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

Successfully meet daily production goals.

Responsible for adhering to food industry standards and company policies, by ensuring proper protection is worn while in contact with the product.

Other guidelines as instructed

Adhering to state compliance requirements concerning proper labeling and handling of Metrc-tracked product, according to OLCC regulations and the department SOP.

Maintains kitchen sanitation, including work areas, equipment, and utensils.

Assist the packaging department when necessary.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

**Qualifications**

2+ years of professional kitchen experience

Valid OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit or ability to obtain prior to beginning work with the company

Valid Oregon Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain prior to beginning work with the company

Ability to respond well to questions and seek clarification as needed

Excellent communication skills that promote a positive and productive team-work environment

Demonstrate a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude as part of a team

Ability to use initiative and independent judgement appropriately

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse workgroup, manage stressful situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it

Frequently stand for 6+ hours at a time.

Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, in multi-temperature environments ranging from 60F to 100F.
