As a recruitment agency, we are working in close collaboration with our exclusive client in Marysville to fill the position of IT System Administrator (g*).

Our client is a highly successful company in the online retail industry, specializing in photography, with a well-established online shop (one of the largest in Europe) and 14 locations in Northern and Western Germany, making it one of the largest specialty retailers in Germany for over 120 years.

The ideal candidate will join their team in a permanent position at their attractive and easily accessible location in Westerkappeln, making it easily commutable from the northern Münsterland, Osnabrück area, or southern Lower Saxony.


Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and administering server and client systems (with a focus on Windows), managing central services such as networking, WLAN, virtualization, antivirus, and backup systems, optimizing and developing the existing IT infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft, providing user support for software and hardware issues, procuring, deploying, and managing IT components, and actively supporting IT projects.


To be successful in this role, you should ideally have a degree in computer science or a similar qualification, several years of experience in managing and developing common Microsoft systems, good knowledge of Windows Server (GPO, Exchange), and experience with virtualization (Hyper-V).

Familiarity with M365/Azure is also desirable. Additionally, you should have a strong service orientation, excellent communication skills, reliability, a sense of responsibility,
