University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program.

The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.


Position Summary


Temporary, Full Time, Non-Exempt, Benefited position through June 30, 2024 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).


Salary:
$4,333.0-$5,525.00 per month.


Location:
San Bernardino.


Work Schedule
40 hours per week. Typically Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM. Occasional travel required.

Typical Activities
Under mínimal supervision of the CAE Assistant Director, the Business Operations Analyst will work independently to:

  • Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to design and implement process improvements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Support the planning and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to inform decisionmaking and drive continuous improvement.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:


  • One or more years of proven experience with grant administration, contracting and reporting.

Other:


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must be a US citizen and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Cross country flights, and two to three multi day travel trips required. Employee must be eligible and able to use air travel and drive a car.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Security+ Certification
  • Experience with Oracle or Peoplesoft
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies
  • Project management experience
  • Inventory management experience
