    To accommodate our continued growth, we are seeking to add a new Client Services Associate to our high-caliber and talented Client Services team.

    This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position and offers both a generous benefit package and incentive programs. This position reports to our Senior Vice President of Client Services.


    POSITION SUMMARY:


    The Client Services Associate position supports the development of profitable new and renewed business accounts across all market segments, or within targeted, assigned program segments, with the overall objective of contributing to the company's annual premium and revenue growth targets.

    The Client Services Associate will work under moderate supervision and guidance.

    In addition, this role further develops and promotes the marketplace's awareness of the American Specialty brand, products and services in an engaging and professional manner.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Client Communication/Support: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, providing information about products or services, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and resolving issues they may encounter with products or services.
    • Account Management: Manage client accounts and ensure timely delivery of products or services.
    • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive engagement to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products or services to existing clients.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and inquiries, and generate reports as necessary to track client engagement and satisfaction levels.
    • Training and Education: Provide training and support to clients including conducting presentations when necessary.
    • Any other job-related duties as may be assigned by SVP of Client Services.
    Success in this role is measured and/or determined by:


    • Feedback offered from clients, teammates, and leaders in the company.
    • Teammate's ability to meet deadlines while managing various responsibilities.
    • Positive results/remarks on annual performance evaluations.

    Required Education/Experience/Licensing:

    • College degree required. An Insurance & Risk Management degree is a bonus.
    • Property & Casualty/Life & Health insurance licenses are required. If candidate is not currently licensed, required coursework and exams will be scheduled to successfully secure licenses soon after date of hire.

    Required Skills & Abilities:

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications is required and ability to quickly adapt to internal proprietary agency system.
    • Highly effective communication skills, including written, verbal, group and presentation-based.
    • Persuasion and negotiation skills.
    • Problem-solving abilities.
    • Analytical skills to understand complex coverage details and Underwriting guidelines.
    • Innate interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing clients, and also to develop successful working relationships across internal functional areas.
    • Utilize essential time management and organizational skills to succeed in semi-autonomous, fast-paced sales environment.
    • Team-oriented enthusiasm, with ability to effectively work independently under moderate supervision and guidance.
    • Polished professional and self-starter with ambition, excellent work ethic and ability to successfully work with and alongside colleagues, peers and business partners at all levels.
