ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY

SUMMARY:

Currently searching for one student assistant to work on Project (CO)2MPUTE, an NSF-funded professional development project under the supervision of Drs.

Anne Cawley and Cristina Runnalls.


SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):

The student assistant will assist the Project (CO)2MPUTE research team in providing professional development opportunities for community college and CPP instructors of a first mathematics course for future elementary teachers.

Specifically, the student assistant will assist with preparation of summer institute materials (~5 hours), attendance and support during a weeklong summer professional development institute (~40 hours), and debriefing following the institute (~5 hours).

Task and duties may involve preparation of materials and physical space for group activities, set-up and take-down of refreshments, copying/printing/organizing, and engaging with participants as requested by the workshop speakers.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a high school diploma
