- Printing Bills of Lading (BOLs) accurately and efficiently to accompany outgoing shipments.
- Closing orders in IFS upon completion of shipments or receipt of goods.
- Printing Pick Tickets to facilitate order fulfillment and warehouse picking processes.
- Uploading and organizing photos of shipments and inventory into the IFS database for record-keeping and quality control purposes.
- Fielding incoming calls from carriers regarding shipment schedules, delivery statuses, and any issues or inquiries.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assisting with various other office duties as required, which may include data entry, filing, inventory management, and supporting other departments as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, shipping procedures, and inventory management systems (e.g., IFS) is highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in performing administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
