    Description

    Location: Atlanta, GA - Hybrid

    Duration: 8 month contract

    Pay: $22.10/hr

    We are partnering with a nonprofit organization to hire on a Communications Associate in support of their Marketing team.

    Job Description: Job Duties:

    • Writes, edits, and coordinates content for communications, including social media, online articles, postcards, flyers, emails, phone scripts, videos, and newsletters
    • Coordinates content, including the procurement of stock photos
    • Oversees and tracks Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts; develops monthly and annual reports
    • Supports social media channels by posting and creating content, including graphics and video
    • Implements and monitors paid social media campaigns
    • Works with local media outlets to determine rates and availability for advertising campaigns
    • Manages ad-hoc communications requests from volunteers and staff

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years experience in communications
    • College degree

    Schedule:

    • 20 hours a week
    • Must come into the Atlanta office at minimum once a month for staff meetings, can be virtual the rest of the hours
