- Develop and implement a comprehensive Corporate quality assurance strategy and standards aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead the functional QA teams at all sites to drive alignment and execution to Corporate standards, setting objectives, and ensuring continuous improvement in our quality processes and systems.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to integrate quality control measures throughout the product development and manufacturing lifecycle.
- Establish quality metrics and benchmarks, conducting regular audits and assessments to maintain and improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with relevant international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 27001, TL 9000) and regulatory requirements.
- Manage supplier quality, ensuring all materials and components meet our high standards.
- Oversee the resolution of quality issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Drive quality awareness and practices across the organization, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements specific to satellite communications manufacturing and terrestrial and wireless systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring a team and collaborating across departments.
- Certifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g., Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Black Belt).
