As the Director - Quality & Safety, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) and safety management system (SMS) that complies with all relevant aviation regulations and industry best practicesOversee:
All quality control and safety activities throughout the manufacturing process, including inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Of quality and safety professionals, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to excel.
Quality and safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
All quality and safety documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
Engineering, manufacturing, flight operations, finance, program and other departments to ensure quality and safety are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
On the latest aviation regulations, industry best practices, and emerging technologies for quality and safety improvement.Represent the company at relevant audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
Of safety, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality among all employees.
To leadership and corporate level staff at all hands, board meetings, etc.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Aviation Safety or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation manufacturing, preferably with aircraft.
Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring, and training of employees.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing quality and/or safety teams.
Strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
In-depth knowledge of 14 CFR Part 21, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality and safety standards.
Data-driven approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement using industry standard tools (RCCA, FMEA, etc).
