We, the AWO district association Münsterland-Recklinghausen, provide social services in the areas of elderly and disabled care, child, youth and family support, as well as migration and active labor market policies, with around 3,500 full-time employees.

At our main office in Herten, we are responsible for the overall operations of the Münsterland-Recklinghausen district.

The department of Association Politics and Public Relations manages communication and interaction with the public, our employees, and our members.

Volunteer for the Federal Voluntary Service (BfD)

Full-time with 39 hours per week:


Your responsibilities:


  • You will actively contribute to the organization of public relations
  • You will play a central role in planning and executing various internal and external events, such as employee parties, fairs, meetings, and events
  • You will maintain relationships with our AWO honorary offices and act as a contact person
